Csea Union Contract 2021 Judicial Branch

The California State Employees Association (CSEA) recently finalized a new union contract with the Judicial Branch for 2021. The collective bargaining agreement covers over 3,500 clerical and administrative workers who perform critical functions in the state`s court system.

The new contract includes a 3% salary increase for all union members, effective July 1, 2021. In addition to the salary increase, the CSEA and Judicial Branch agreed to increase the state`s contribution to healthcare and dental benefits for employees and their families.

The contract also includes provisions for paid family leave, bereavement leave, and ongoing training and development opportunities for union members. The CSEA and Judicial Branch worked together to prioritize employee work-life balance and safety, particularly in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The union contract negotiations took place over several months, with multiple rounds of discussions and proposals from both sides. Ultimately, the CSEA and Judicial Branch were able to reach an agreement that provides fair compensation and benefits for union members while maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the state`s court system.

The CSEA has a long history of advocating for the rights and well-being of California`s state employees, and this latest contract agreement is a testament to their ongoing dedication and commitment. As the state`s court system continues to navigate ongoing challenges and changes, the CSEA and Judicial Branch will undoubtedly continue to work together to prioritize the needs of their workforce and ensure the highest quality services for all Californians.
